Better functionality than Leaf but poor UI in comparison
I own both Leaf and ReadKit and they are very similar applications. ReadKit stands out for its better support of 3rd party applications including having Pocket articles show up in the main view (pocket client) instead of just having pocket as a destination to save in Leaf. The big problem that I have with ReadKit is its poor UI in comparison. ReadKit does not support images in the list, instead using a very unhelpful favicon that is pretty much the same for every article on a feed. Leaf on the other hand shows an image per story that comes from the article. This is much better as it helps to quickly scan what articles you are actually interested in. It is this plus the UI for the article view that makes me choose Leaf over ReadKit for my RSS reader.
If ReadKit were to improve its UI and support article images or Leaf were to support the same clients as Leaf then there would be more of a clean winner in my opinion. For now Ill be using Leaf and letting ReadKit sit on my harddrive unused.
