v2.5 Not Ready for Prime Time

I am a long time user of Readkit and I was very satisfied with it. So this update was welcomed but now having had it installed on one of my Macs, I have disabled auto-update on the others.

I think the UI improvements are a good idea but the implementation was woefully incomplete. As other reviewrs have pointed out, the latest release took away some customizations that were previously available for the sake, in my opnion, of hurriedly getting this release out. I don’t see what the hurry was as the previous 2.4.6 release was perfectly adequate and functional.

I’m sure the developer will get around to restoring the last capabilities in future point releases but for now, I’ll stay away from 2.5 until the lost features are restored.
