It’s the best app I’ve found to statisfy my RSS needs. I wouldn’t say it’s slow. I use it with a feed wrangler account and everything works great! Do make sure you set the Preferences > Syncing > Concurrent Sync Operations > High. Keep up the good job team!
This app crashes at least once per use and has for at least a year. Are you guys even trying to fix it? At $10 I could have bought 4 other RSS apps just to find one I like and throw away the rest. Your app is great other than the constant hard crashes. Keyboard nav, syncs with Feedly, and everything I used to like about NetNewsWire. I dont want to switch or waste money on something to randomly discover whether I like its implementation of keyboard nav, but it looks more and more likely that Im going to have to. Super lame.
Dont bother with this app, its not being maintained anymore, and the developers arent responding to any support emails anymore. I actually wanted to use and like this app because it has excellent support for the Pinboard bookmarks service, and really powerful Smart Folders (which work great with the Pinboard bookmarks), but their RSS module limits the amount of feed items itll display, and even worse, theres no option to keep read items. I follow some feeds which get infrequently updated, and this app removes all items after a while, presenting a completely empty feed. I raised all this with the developers, and emailed them multiple times: Not ONCE have I gotten a response. The last update to this app was July 14 in 2015, so apparently the developers have moved on.
Update: Developer never responds to support requests. The app is currently unable to save any of its settings. Changing the rating until I hear back. One of the better RSS clients available on the Mac App Store. It’s not as smooth as Reeder but it’s a great replacement/alternative. Updates can sometimes be slow and if the app is left running for a long time, the read status and the entire left-side list get out of sync. These are small polish issues, so besides these, it’s a decent app.
Been using the app for over 2.5 years now. Used it on Mavericks, then onto Yosemite, and now on El Crap. This app has never crashed on me yet on any of the previously mentioned systems. The app is constantly running in the background using Feedly and Readability services. So far it worked great for me.
